POLICY STATEMENT

The Galactic Rim Research Reserve assert that our mission demands a selective acquisition posture. All educational materials, covering all skill levels, that help in the independent research of our clientele, will be requisitioned. Such materials must clearly show the ability to move our clientele into the scientific, industrial, art, and humanity communities of this nation.

Our policy allows us to focus on seeking educational materails that will promote positive grow in objective knowledge, learning skills, citizenship and to strengthen the bonds between the diverse cultural, ethnic, and gender groups of our community.

Although acquisitions are driven by subject of interest; it is our policy to not provide materials listed in the following categories:

• Popular general fictional writings,
  
• Collections of political writings promoting one philosophy,
  
• Collections of writing that are promoting biased actions against individuals, groups and their believes,
  
• Instructional writings to help in the procurement, distribution, and manufacturing of illegal weapons, chemicals, explosives, patented pharmaceutical, and/or narcotics,
  
• Popular audio/visual recreational materials.
